Brickwork and Stonework
I first became interested in bricklaying when I left school and began helping as a bricklayers labourer. After a while I thought “I can do that” and began to look into training to be a qualified bricklayer.
Whilst a lot of my working history has involved with house building I am concentrating on working for private clients on more varied projects which I find more challenging and interesting.
These can vary from building large Brickwork Garden Walls for a new build bungalow,
To designing and building a more complicated structure, a brickwork arch
Additionaly during my 52 years as a bricklayer I have gained a lot of experience in Stonework which there is a great demand for in my local area
Before commencing any project is often necessary to remove rocks and other objects to enable me to commence work
Large rock requiring removal from the site before work could be commenced
